Recent Report Revealed Colorado Avalanche's Defenseman Josh Manson May Have Suffered A Season Ending Injury

The Colorado Avalanche may have just been hit with some terrible news, as a new report has revealed that defenseman Josh Manson may have suffered a season ending injury.
Recently the Colorado Avalanche got some good news as it was revealed that forward Joe Kiviranta was set to rejoin the team right before their three-game road trip, after being out with a lower-body injury.
But with that, the Avalanche also got some pretty bad news as it was reported that defenseman Josh Manson was not joining the team on the road trip, and instead was staying back in Denver due to an upper-body injury.
Now a new report has surfaced revealing that Josh Manson may be out for the remainder of the season with a upper-body injury.
Avalanche Defenseman's Season Possibly Coming To An End Early
Manson has missed a good chunk of the year this year with a lower-body injury, as he has only appeared in 48 games for the Colorado Avalanche.
In those 48 games, the veteran defenseman has recorded 1 goal, and 14 assists for 15 points this season, while averaging 18:02 of ice time per game.
According to Pro Hockey Rumors it seems like there is a good chance that Manson may not return during the regular season, especially considering the Avs only have five games remaining.
Given that Colorado only has five games remaining on their schedule, there's a decent chance Manson may not play another regular season contest for them this season. If that's the case, he'll finish the year with one goal and 15 points in 48 games, averaging 18:02 of ice time per game.
The Avs may just be best off resting him for the remainder of the regular season, and make sure he comes back fully healthy for the playoffs, especially after the Avalanche ended up clinching their playoff ticket after their win last night
