An NHL insider just revealed a mind blowing stat regrading Colorado Avalanche's Cale Makar.
Cale Makar and the Colorado Avalanche went off last night against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Columbus Blue Jackets ended up taking the lead in the second period going up 3-2 against the Colorado Avalanche, but the Avalanche responded by scoring 5 unanswered goals during the remainder of the game.
Cale Makar ended up making history after scoring his 30th goal of the season, becoming the first defenseman to hit this feat since Mike Green did so in the 2008-09 season.
Makar also ended up picking up two assists along with his goal, and is now up to 30 goals, 60 assists for 90 points.
Following the game, an NHL insider revealed a mind blowing stat regarding Cale Makar.
Mind Blowing Stat Involving Cale Makar
After the game, Nathan Rudolph revealed that Cale Makar would be the leading point scorer on 27 out of the 32 NHL teams which is absolutely mind blowing to think about especially considering he is a defenseman.
Cale Makar would be the leading point scorer on 27 NHL teams.
The only teams he would not be the leading point scorer on would be the Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, Toronto Maple Leafs, Vegas Golden Knights, and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Makar is definitely a generational player, and I'm thankful he is apart of the Avs and not on a different team.
