Now, Cal Ritchie is making a big name for himself with the New York Islanders organization.

The Oshawa Generals are facing off against the Brampton Steelheads in the first-round of the playoffs and Cal Ritchie has been going off.
The 20-year-old forward has picked up at least one point in each game, and has a total of 1 goal, 5 assists for 6 points in just 4 playoff games.
Meanwhile, in the OHL playoffs north of the border, Cal Richie in the dirty areas #Isles
Ritchie may not be as hot right now as some of his teammates like
Colby Barlow and Owen Griffin who each have four goals, and four assists, and Beckett Senneke who has four goals and three assists, but he is definitely making a name for himself.
Islanders General Manager Lou Lamoriello stated that the New York Islanders are not going to burn a year of his entry-level contract by bringing him into the NHL this season, but there is a chance that we could see him play full-time in the NHL next season, or at least get to see some NHL games.
