Colorado Avalanche's Captain Gabriel Landeskog's Return Was Just Confirmed
Recently the Colorado Avalanche have been getting some exciting news regarding their captain Gabriel Landeskog who hasn't played a game since 2022, and now it was just confirmed that he will returning.
Over the past couple of days,
Landeskog has been showing a lot of promise. He's been working on the Avalanche's power play, and for the first time since leaving the NHL with his knee injury, he practiced on back-to-back days.
Gabe Landeskog was back on the ice today, skating on consecutive days with the team.
Not only that, but another major development in him returning to the lineup was that he finally started taking contact once again during practice.

Landeskog's Return Was Just Confirmed
Leading up to their game against the Chicago Blackhawks last night,
Erik Johnson confirmed that
Landeskog will be returning to the Colorado Avalanche.
Although he did not reveal when it was going to happen, he stated that it's only a "matter of when, and not if anymore".

Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar also spoke out on him getting closer to returning to the lineup and stated that he is getting excited for him.
«I'm getting excited for him. It's hard for it not to inspire you or inspire his teammates. When I see him start to get excited, I get excited.»
Wow! This is huge news for the Avalanche, and if they can get him back sometime in the playoffs, it would be huge!
