The hockey community was hit with some very heartbreaking news last night after an announcement confirmed that longtime NHL goaltender Greg Millen has unfortunately passed away at the age of 67-years-old.
The NHL alumni revealed last night that Greg Millen, a 14-year NHL hockey alumni goaltender has unexpectedly passed away at 67-years-old.
It is with heavy hearts we share the sudden passing of Greg Millen today. He played 14 seasons between the pipes in the National Hockey League for six teams: the Pittsburgh Penguins, Hartford Whalers, St. Louis Blues, Quebec Nordiques, Chicago Blackhawks, and Detroit Red Wings. Over his NHL career, Millen appeared in more than 600 regular-season games.
After learning about the news, multiple big named insiders, and reporters took to social media right away to show their respect for Millen, and express their condolences.
