Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar issues a very exciting update regarding some recent speculation from Sunday morning regarding captain Gabriel Landeskog.
Recent reports surfaced that revealed that there some talks about Gabriel Landeskog joining the Avalanche's AHL affiliate team, the Colorado Eagles on a conditioning stint in the near future.
Landeskog has been making a massive push to return to the NHL recently, joining the Avalanche during practices and even started to take contact at practice.

Not long ago, teammate Eric Johnson confirmed that Landeskog will be coming back to the NHL when he spoke on TNT and stated that it's a matter of when, and not if he will return.
On April 5th, Gabriel Landeskog was sent to go practice with the Colorado Eagles because the Avalanche were traveling and they wanted him to keep seeing the ice.
Gabe Landeskog will be skating in morning skate with the Colorado Eagles this weekend.

Along with that, there has been some rumours about Gabriel Landeskog is set to join the Eagles on a conditioning stint.
Sunday morning, Avalanche insider Adrian Dater revealed that Landeskog may be going on a conditioning stint.

However, following the Avs practice on Monday, Jared Bednar was asked about the recent rumour and revealed the organization would be interested in letting Gabriel play some games with the Eagles.
He didn't say no, so that's a very positive sign for the Colorado Avalanche and just maybe we will Gabriel Landeskog return for the playoffs?
