Avalanche getting ready for their first-round matchup

The Avalanche are preparing for their first round match up and are waiting to see who they will meet as the Winnipeg Jets and the Dallas Stars are still within striking distance of taking the central division title.
If the Stars are the first-round opponents, it will be a storybook start to the playoffs as the Avalanche will face off against Mikko Rantanen who is now a member of the stars after being traded from the Carolina Hurricanes earlier last month.
Over their last 10 games the avalanche has gone 6-3-1 and are looking to finish the season strong with over 100 points as they currently have four games left in the regular season.
