Troubling Injury News Surfaces Moments Before Game One Of The Playoffs For The Colorado Avalanche
All season long, injuries have played a big part for the Colorado Avalanche, and just moments before the playoffs begin, they got some more troubling news regarding two top players.
Unfortunately this was not the case, and two more players ended up going down with injuries before their final game of the year against the Anaheim Ducks.
Troubling Injury News Strikes The Colorado Avalanche
Ahead of the final regular season game, the Colorado Avalanche announced that both
Valeri Nichushkin and
Artturi Lehkonen were being held out of the game due to lower-body injuries.
Looks like Valeri Nichushkin and Artturi Lehkonen will get the night off.
Miles Wood back in as well as TJ Tynan.
Now, this could have just been a precautionary move by the Colorado Avalanche, as they know who they are facing in the first round of the playoffs.
I don't like how this sounds.
If these players end up missing games for the Avalanche, it could change the outcome of this series.
The Colorado Avalanche have arguably been one of the best teams in the NHL with Nichushkin in the lineup. Having him healthy for game one of the seven game series is going to be huge for the Avalanche.
Until everything is confirmed, Avalanche fans will be hoping and praying that all these players are 100% healthy for the Playoffs.
