Recent Injury News Results In The Colorado Avalanche Completing A Roster Transaction Ahead Of Game
The Colorado Avalanche just got hit with some more injury news today, and it forced them to complete another roster transaction, and call up a player from the Eagles in the American Hockey League ahead of their game tonight.
It's going to be the Colorado Avalanche's last home game tonight, and they are set to faceoff against the Vancouver Canucks at 9 p.m. ET.
They are going to have to do so without
Nathan MacKinnon tonight as it was revealed he suffered a minor injury, and there is some speculation that he may not play another regular season game this year, but should be good to go for the playoffs.
But because MacKinnon is out with an injury, along with Colton, Lindgren, and Manson, the Avalanche were forced to recall a forward.
Avalanche Forced To Complete Roster Transaction Due To Latest Injuries
Wagner has been bounced back and forth between the National Hockey League, and the American Hockey League this year.
He is now getting another opporunity, and if he takes advantage of it, he could earn a spot in the lineup for the Avalanche heading into the playoffs, although it's hard to see it happening.
Wagner has appeared in 25 games with the Colorado Avalanche this season, scoring just 1 goal while averaging 6:56 of ice time per game.
He has also appeared in 42 games with the Colorado Eagles this season, and has put up some solid numbers scoring 19 goals, with 12 assists for 31 points.
