Colorado Avalanche Hit With More Terrible News As Another Key Defenseman Goes Down With An Injury
Add another one to the list.. The Colorado Avalanche just revealed that another defenseman will not be available for tonight's game after suffering an injury during their previous game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Today has been a rollercoaster of a ride for Avalanche fans. The playoffs are quickly coming, and the Avalanche have only three regular season games remaining, and they just got hit with more injury news.
But with that, they got some bad news as another defenseman will not be sidelined for the Avalanche.
Colorado Avalanche Lose Another Defenseman To Injury
After revealing that both
Martin Necas and Sam Girard will be returning tonight, head coach Jared Bednar revealed that newly acquired defenseman
Ryan Lindgren will be out with an upper-body injury.
Lindgren will not play tonight, he got hurt against the Golden Knights.
Bednar says it's an upper-body injury
It's unclear whether or not Lindgren is going to be out long-term, or if he is listed as day-to-day, but losing him is a tough blow for the Avalanche right before the playoffs.
Lindgren, since being acquired by the Avalanche has been pretty solid, he has appeared in 72 games this year scoring 4 goals, along with 18 assists for 22 points, while averaging 19:00 of ice time.
