The Colorado Eagles have struck a major deal that will give fans unprecedented access to games, allowing them to tune in and follow more of the team's action throughout the 2025-26 AHL season.
The Avalanche have also secured a
massive television deal that's already making waves across the hockey world, sparking excitement and plenty of conversation among fans who see it as a game-changing move for the franchise.
Colorado Eagles strike a big deal that has fans talking.
The Colorado Eagles, the official AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced that nine games from the 2025-26 season will be televised on KCDO Local 3 through a broadcast partnership with Denver's Scripps-owned station, KMGH.
Here's what Eagles president Ryan Bach had to say after closing the deal.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to work with KMGH and Local 3 to expand our reach to fans throughout the state of Colorado. We are excited to bring a first-class broadcast experience that will showcase the excitement of Colorado Eagles hockey and the electric atmosphere that is created every single night at Blue Arena." -Bach
The broadcast schedule will include nine home games against eight different opponents, running from November through April.
The Colorado Eagles have just announced they will be broadcasting 9 games on local channel 3 in Denver! So this will be a way for everyone to see the Eagles play at least a little!!!!

Kevin McGlue, known as the 'Voice of the Eagles,' will handle play-by-play duties, with Bach joining as color analyst and Meghan Angley of Guerilla Sports providing ice-side reporting and player interviews.
Local 3 is available on Comcast channels 3 and 649, Dish Network channel 3, and over-the-air on channel 3.1.
