The Colorado Avalanche have secured a massive television deal that's already making waves across the hockey world, sparking excitement and plenty of conversation among fans who see it as a game-changing move for the franchise.

The agreement not only boosts the team's visibility but also promises to bring in significant revenue, further solidifying the Avalanche's position as one of the NHL's premier franchises.
Aarif Deen from Colorado Hockey Now writes that on Monday, the Avalanche confirmed that they will once again team up with local broadcasters 9News and My20, marking the second straight year of the partnership.
"Altitude Sports will broadcast 20 Avalanche and 20 Denver Nuggets NBA games over-the-air on the two stations throughout the regular season. The two sides had a similar agreement last year, which was a big hit for local fans." -Deen

All other games not picked up for national coverage will continue to air on Altitude Sports and stream through the Altitude+ app.
For many, this feels the another step forward. Last season came across as Kroenke Sports & Entertainment offering local fans a goodwill gesture after years of frustration over Altitude Sports' limited availability on major cable providers.
The extension into a second straight year, however, is a promising sign and welcome news for Avalanche fans.
Mark Cornetta, Senior Vice President of Media Operations at TEGNA, shared his thoughts on the renewed partnership...
«After last year's tremendous success as the official over-the-air broadcast home of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, we're excited to continue this partnership for another season. The response last year exceeded our expectations, and we're proud to once again provide Denver fans with the ability to watch their beloved Nuggets and Avs play.» Cornetta

All in all, the renewal deal ensures Avalanche fans will have plenty of ways connected throughout the season.
