Colorado Avalanche Star Defenseman Issues A Direct Message To His Teammates Following Recent Announcement

After clinching their eighth consecutive playoff appearance, Cale Makar sent a direct message to his team.
Thursday night, Colorado Avalanche superstar defenseman Cale Makar made some NHL history after scoring his 30th goal of the season, becoming the first defenseman to do so since Mike Green did it back in 2008-09, and led his team to a 7-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

With their win against the Columbus Blue Jackets, it was announced that the Avalanche did secure their spot in the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs.
Makar Sends A Direct Message To The Avalanche
After clinching the 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs, Jared Bednar spoke highly about his team.

«That's the first step and the first goal that you set in training camp. It takes a long time to get here and a lot of hard work, but I'm proud of our guys for accomplishing that-especially under tough circumstances, coming in here tonight on a back-to-back.» Bednar added.
After making NHL history, Cale Makar sent a direct message to his teammates revealing that he wouldn't have been able to do this without any of them.
«It's a great stat, but I definitely wouldn't have reached it without these guys,» Makar said. «It's a lot of effort from them getting me the puck and giving me chances.»
The Avalanche have 4 games remaining in the season and then their focus will be on winning another Stanley Cup.
