Colorado Avalanche Insider Just Issued A Major Announcement Regarding Nathan MacKinnon And It's Shocking

Nathan MacKinnon sure seems like he's on his way to win an MVP trophy this year, and a recent announcement from a Colorado Avalanche insider just revealed why.
Any team that has the likes of Nathan MacKinnon, and
Cale Makar on it is going to be a scary team, but Nathan MacKinnon just seems to be on another level once again this year.
MacKinnon has been carrying the Colorado Avalanche for years now, and is looking to bring them to another Stanley Cup like he did in the 2021-22 season.
During his game against the Calgary Flames on March 31st, MacKinnon engraved his name in history with the Colorado Avalanche after breaking a franchise record.
Nathan MacKinnon Makes Franchise History
When taking on the Calgary Flames, Nathan MacKinnon ended up setting up
Cale Makar for his 28th goal of the season, and MacKinnon picked up his 80th assists.
With that, MacKinnon became the first player in franchise history to record consecutive 80-assist seasons, with the only other player to do so was Peter Stastny who did it back in 1981-82, and then again in 1985-86.
Nathan MacKinnon is the first player in franchise history to record consecutive 80-assist seasons.
The only other Avs/Nordiques player to do it was Peter Stastny (93 in 1981-82 & 81 in 1985-86).
MacKinnon is currently leading the league in points with 110, assists with 80, and is tied for second most power play points with his teammate
Martin Necas with 36.
Heading into the playoffs, the Colorado Avalanche have a serious shot at winning another Stanley Cup.
