Stunning report reveals which free agent the Avalanche must sign before the season begins

A stunning report suggests that the Colorado Avalanche could gain a significant edge this season by signing free-agent forward Jack Roslovic, adding depth and scoring potential to their lineup.
Roslovic's name has already been linked to the Avalanche in numerous reports over the course of the offseason.

Graham Tiedtke from Mile High Sticking writes that Roslovic has yet to live up to his first-round pedigree from 2015, surpassing 20 goals in a season only twice. While he's unlikely to command a high-priced deal, reports indicate he's seeking a multi-year contract, a move that has understandably made teams hesitant, or he likely would have already signed this offseason.
At some point, Roslovic might grow tired of waiting for a deal. The Avalanche could offer a cost-efficient PTO, and if he performs well, a different contract could follow.

If the Avalanche signed him, he'd likely play on the fourth line as a winger. Given his career faceoff struggles, he's only topped 50% once.
That would leave faceoffs to players like Bardakov or Kiviranta, but exploring every option make sense.
