Nelson netted his first two goals in Burgundy and Blue during a 5-1 win over the Ottawa Senators on March 20th, while Coyle scored his first goal as an Avalanche in the team's 7-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on April 3rd.
Coyle closed out the regular season on a six-game point streak, tallying 11 points (2 goals, 9 assists) during that stretch. The run began with a three-point performance (1 goal, 2 assists) against the Blue Jackets and concluded with another three-point outing (1 goal, 2 assists) in Anaheim.
