Everyone loves a comeback story, and Gabriel Landeskog's with the Colorado Avalanche has everyone hyped up, including Head Coach Jared Bednar.

Game 3 of the Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars in the Stanley Cup playoffs took place on Wednesday. Game 3 was on home ice, as the Avalanche hoped to gain a 2-1 lead, unfortunately that wasn't the outcome.
One storyline driving the excitement is Captain Gabriel Landeskog's return to play for the Avalanche.
Landeskog officially made his return for the Colorado Avalanche, for the first time in nearly three-years Gabriel Landeskog returned and played a game in the NHL.
Head coach Jared Bednar would broach the topic during a press conference, and like Bednar, we're hyped to see Landeskog back on the ice, in an Avalanche uniform! It's a great comeback story which we'd love to see as he'll be a huge factor in what could be the second Avalanche win in this competitive series.
Unfortunately the Colorado Avalanche came up short and took a 2-1 loss in overtime to the Dallas Stars once again. Which now leaves them trailing 1-2 in the best of seven playoff series.
However, it was clear that the team has missed his leadership and offensive skills on the ice, as he's scored 2 points in 2 games (1 goal, 1 assist) with the Colorado Eagles in a conditioning stint.
The last time he suited up for the Avalanche before Wednesday night was back in 2021-2022, he scored 59 points (30 goals, 29 assists) and won a Stanley Cup.
