Heading into game three against the Dallas Stars, the Avalanche are going to be looking to hold an advantage over the Stars once again with a win tonight, and they have revealed their lineup and it looks like they are making some changes.
The Avalanche ended up losing game two after blowing the lead late in the third period to the Stars, giving them the tying goal to make it a tied game.
Unfortunately, the Stars ended up winning it over 17 minutes into the extra frame, but this came after the Avalanche already won the first game against the Stars.
Captain
Gabriel Landeskog nearly made his return to the ice for the first time in nearly 3 years as well. He took part in the warmups right before the beginning of the game, but after that it was super confusing.
There were reports that he was going to be playing and was gonna to be the first line out there for the opening draw, but just a couple minutes later it was revealed that he was not going to be playing.
It's been flip-flopped. Landeskog is now scratched with Wood in the lineup.
Now it seems like Landeskog is going to be playing tonight after their lines got revealed on X (Twitter):
Colorado Avalanche lines for tonight:
Lehkonen-Mackinnon-Necas
Drouin-Nelson-Nichuchkin
Kiviranta-Coyle-Landeksog
Kelly-Drury-O'Connor
Toews-Makar
Lindgren-Manson
Girard-Malinski
Blackwood
Wedgewood
Once they get Colton back, is this team better than 2022?
The Avalanche are going to be looking to go up 2-1 on the Stars with a win tonight.
