Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog made a major announcement ahead of Game 4 against the Dallas Stars on home ice in Ball Arena.
The
Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars are neck tight in what is an exciting 1st-round matchup in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
With the return of Captain
Gabriel Landeskog, the
Avalanche have a shot at tightening the race and overcoming a skilled and physical Stars team.
Ahead of Game 4 tomorrow night in Ball Arena, Gabriel Landeskog was interviewed after practice about how he feels about being back in the lineup.
He survived a conditioning stint, where he played 2 games with the Colorado Eagles, and would tally 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) before being called up to the NHL.
Landeskog's interview exudes confidence about the Avalanche's lineup as he remarked they're a good team. And even better with him, a 2nd overall pick in the 2011 draft back in the lineup.
With his knee holding up well, after missing well over two years of NHL action, he's returned to form and been promoted to the Avalanche's 2nd-line, alongside center
Brock Nelson.
He and the
Avalanche are on a cup-hunt against the Dallas Stars, and fortunately enough for us, he's feeling well and wasn't going to gamble with his health to return too early to the lineup.
Gabriel Landeskog has skated in 738 NHL Games and scored a total of 571 points (248 goals, 323 assists).
Can he win a Stanley Cup with the Avalanche like he did during the 2022 NHL season?
