Colorado Avalanche vs Dallas Stars first playoff game has just been confirmed following recent announcement

Just recently an announcement was made that confirmed the Colorado Avalanche are going to be facing off against former forward Mikko Rantanen in the first-round of the playoffs, as they will officially be playing each other.

Something the Avalanche wanted to avoid, but now they are going to have to get through Rantanen and the Stars to make it past the first-round.

Thankfully, the Colorado Avalanche and head coach Jared Bednar will have about a week to have some extra rest days compared to Rantanen and Dallas, who will finish their final game on Wednesday night, while the Avs are already done with their 82 games.

Considering recent reports indicate that they will be facing the Dallas stars on the opening day of playoffs, April 19th. For their first postseason game.
