Just a week from the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar issues a strong statement, towards Mikko Rantanen and the Dallas Stars.
As the 2024-25 NHL season reaches its most exciting stage, the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and as recent reports confirmed that the Avalanche and Stars are set to meet in the first round, head coach Jared Bednar issues a firm warning to former forward Mikko Rantanen and the Dallas Stars.
Thankfully, the Colorado Avalanche and head coach Jared Bednar will have about a week to have some extra rest days compared to Rantanen and Dallas, who will finish their final game on Wednesday night, while the Avs are already done with their 82 games.
Considering reports indicate that they will be facing each other on the opening day of playoffs, April 19th.
Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar issues strong messages to the Dallas Stars
During a recent interview, Bednar delivered a strong warning towards Rantanen and the Dallas Stars ahead of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
«We'll be ready,» Bednar said about the playoffs, via NHL.com. «We've got a whole week here to get prepared for Dallas. We know they're a very good team, obviously, and they've been tough competition for us the last few years.»
Hopefully Bednar is right, considering this will be the seventh postseason meeting, their third since 2020, after the stars eliminated the Colorado Avalanche.
