Colorado Avalanche facing serious allegations after violating unwritten NHL rule

The Colorado Avalanche are facing some serious allegations from fans for violating an unwritten NHL rule, and they are being called out for it.
Colorado has just two games remaining in the regular season before the NHL playoffs begin, and they will more then likely face off against the Dallas Stars.
Bednar on Landeskog:
«When he says he's ready to play, he's going to play.»
«When you're talking about mental toughness, resilience, just the work ethic it takes to go through what he's gone throughto get to the point where he could possibly play, it's pretty exciting.»
Landeskog is taking a big step by
joining the Colorado Eagles on a conditioning stint right now, but fans are calling the Avs out for breaking an unwritten rule.
Colorado Facing Major Allegations
The Avalanche are facing some backlash for supposedly "circumventing" the cap by sending him down to the AHL on a conditioning stint.
This is definitely not the case at all, the guy has not played an NHL game in almost three years, are they supposed to just throw him right into NHL games? That wouldn't make any sense at all and would just be setting him up for failure.
There have certainly been situations where teams have circumvented the cap heading into the playoffs.
Sorry,
Gabriel Landeskog isn't one of those. Blown away some think otherwise.
The Avs have not been stashing their captain on LTIR for this long to game the system.
There are definitely some cases in the NHL where we have seen teams circumvent the cap, like the Vegas Golden Knights, but this is definitely not the case, and if some fans think the Avs are doing that, they clearly don't know much about hockey.
