Colorado Avalanche's captain Gabriel Landeskog is set to take on a massive role with the Colorado Eagles following the announcement of his conditioning stint.

Many fans thought that Gabriel Landeskog was never going to play a game for them again, and a lot of people were saying that he should call it a career and retire.
Well Landeskog is making the haters swallow their words on Wednesday when the Colorado Avalanche announced Landeskog was joining the Colorado Eagles on a conditioning stint, and is one step closer to returning back to the NHL.
June 26th, 2022 was the last time that Gabriel Landeskog played a game for the Colorado Avalanche, and with this move, he is now one step closer to returning to the NHL.
Now it's been revealed that Landeskog is set to take on a massive role during his conditioning stint.

All signs are pointing to Gabriel Landeskog playing his first game with the Colorado Eagles today.
The other day whenever Landeskog was sent down to the Eagles, it was revealed that he was doing line rushes on the second line, and that's more then likely where he is going to play.

This is super surprising, especially considering he hasn't played a game in 3 years, but it looks like the Avalanche want to see what he can handle and are giving him a massive role.
