It was just revealed when the Colorado Avalanche are going to have official updates on both Martin Necas, and Jonathan Drouin after both suffered injuries during their game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Bednar ended up meeting with the media ahead of their game and revealed that both Jonathan Drouin and Martin Necas suffered minor injuries and would be considered day-to-day.
Jared Bednar tells @ConorMcGahey Necas is sore and won't play tonight. Drouin went back to Denver but both are considered day to day.

This came as a sigh of relief for Avalanche fans considering that the playoffs is right around the corner, and losing two key players like this could have changed the entire outcome of the playoffs for the Avalanche.
Necas looked like he suffered a very serious injury against the Blackhawks after he was diving to break up a play and ran into the back of a Blackhawks player, awkwardly snapping his next.

Drouin would end up leaving the game, after only just seven shifts, and would not return to the game.

Colorado Hockey Now, the Avalanche have today off, but they are heading home, and the Avalanche should be releasing an official update on Monday when they host a practice at Family Sports.
"The Avs are off today, meaning the next update will come on Monday when they practice at Family Sports ahead of their last two home games of the regular season."
