The Colorado Avalanche Just Confirmed It For 4 Injured Players Entering Tonight's Game Vs The Golden Knights
Entering tonight's matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Colorado Avalanche just confirmed if 4 of their injured players will be available for the game or not.
Leading up to the playoffs, the
Avalanche have recently gotten some bad, and good news regarding multiple players.
Injuries are starting to take effect, as the Avalanche are currently without 4 key players, but they have gotten some good news.
Jared Bednar revealed that all four players are only listed as day-to-day and should be back in time for the playoffs.
The Avalanche are currently without Sam Girard,
Josh Manson,
Jonathan Drouin, and
Martin Necas, which would change things for them heading into the playoffs if they are not available, but with just 4 games remaining in the regular season, resting them so that they are fully healthy may be the best idea.
Now it was just confirmed if any of them are going to be playing in tonight's game against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Bednar Confirms The Fate Of 4 Injured Players
Meeting with the media today, head coach Jared Bednar revealed that all the players listed as day-to-day will not be available for tonight's game.
This includes Martin Necas, Jonathan Drouin, Josh Manson, and Sam Girard.
None of the day-to-day guys will play tonight for the Avs.
Both Necas, and Drouin were injured during the Avalanche's first game of the road trip against the Chicago Blackhawks. Necas' injury looked to be bad after he snapped his head back while making a defensive play, but thankfully he won't be out long-term.
Resting the players before heading into the playoffs may be the smartest move for the Colorado Avalanche.
