The Edmonton Oilers have pushed the Dallas Stars to the edge in the Western Conference Final, and Mikko Rantanen addressed his personal struggles following his team's Game 4 loss.

The Stars fell 4-1 to the Oilers in Game 4 on Wednesday. Now trailing 3-1 in the series, they'll return home for Game 5 with their seasons on the line.

Former Colorado Avalanche Mikko Rantanen's truth bomb leaves fans speechless.

Rantanen has yet to find the back of the net in the Western Conference Final, a stark contrast to his standout performance in the opening round against the Colorado Avalanche. Speaking with reporters, Rantanen addressed his scoring slump, according to Pierre Lebrun of The Athletic.
«Yeah, you know, I try to help and haven't been able to do it as much this series as would be needed to win games. So, I will try to reset myself tomorrow and try to find some keys to get a bounce or two and try to help us win a game.» -Rantanen

The Stars came out strong and pressured the Oilers early, but couldn't break through. Despite firing 16 shots in net in the first period, they were shut down by Stuart Skinner, who held firm to keep Edmonton in control.
"The start of the game tonight reminded me of the second period in Game 3. We were on them, creating chances almost every shift, and they still get the first goal. That's the frustrating part. But this is not the time of the year to get frustrated. You have to reset and go back at it." -Rantanen

Rantanen's season has been nothing short of dramatic. He began with the Avalanche but was dealt to the Carolina Hurricanes after contract talks stalled. That stint didn't last long, he was soon traded to Dallas, where he inked an eight-year extension.
Rantanen made an immediate impact, netting a Game 7 hat trick to knock out his former Colorado team. But lately, his magic has vanished. He has gone goalless in seven straight, and with the Stars facing elimination in Game 5, they desperately need their star winger to snap out of his slump.
