Former Colorado avalanche superstar creates NHL history while reaching huge career milestone
Former Colorado Avalanche superstar forward Mikko Rantanen reaches a very impressive milestone during his game on Thursday night with the Dallas Stars.
The former Avalanche superstar, was recently traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in a massive three-way blockbuster trade back on January 25, 2025.
Since then things have been ugly as he was then later traded to the Dallas Stars by the Carolina Hurricanes and then signed an eight-year, $96 million contract.

However, this is not about that. This is about how the former Avalanche star made history during his game on Thursday night against the Nashville predators, as he tallied his 700th NHL point, with his second assist in the Dallas' 5-1 victory.
Making Rantanen the third-fastest Finnish player to hit the milestone, trailing only Hall of Famers Jari Kurri and Teemu Selanne.
