Colorado has struggled ever since game 1 of the series, and a big part of that is due to their power play.
The Avalanche have gone just 2-13 on their power play in this series, and that has been the difference makers, especially in game four when they went 0-6 on the man advantage.
Goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood has easily been the best player for the Avalanche so far this series, giving the Avalanche a chance to win every game, and keeping them in games even if they shouldn't be.
The deadline acquisitions the Avalanche made this season have been quiet, a little too quiet, and it just seems like a matter of time before they wake up, but hopefully they do before it's too late.
The Avalanche are not worried trailing 2-1 to the Stars, but if they go down 3-1 tonight to the Stars, there is no doubt there will be some panic.
