Colorado Avalanche Lose Six Top Players For Remainder Of Regular Season With Injuries
The Colorado Avalanche are reportedly going to be without six of their top players for the remainder of the regular season after some injury news.
Colorado basically has the third seed in the Central Division locked up ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and for the remainder of their games they are going to have a very different looking lineup.
With the Avalanche basically having the third seed locked, it seems like they are going to have a rematch with the Dallas Stars, this time in the first round.
Colorado To Be Without Six Top Players For Remainder Of Games
Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, Ross Colton, Jonathan Drouin, Josh Manson, and Ryan Lindgren will not go on this trip for the Avalanche.
Every player that will not be traveling with the team for the last two games of the regular season is dealing with an injury, except for Cale Makar who is sitting out to rest before the playoffs.
Bednar revealed that he would like to rest Cale Makar along with
Devon Toews for a couple of games, but it seems like Toews might not get the chance.
Colton, Drouin, Manson, and Lindgren are also all listed as day-to-day for the Colorado Avalanche but are also expected to be back for game 1 of the playoffs.
If completely healthy, the Colorado Avalanche are going to be a scary team in the playoffs this year, and if they get Landeskog back that will just add to it!
