Colorado Avalanche's Cale Makar Gets Brutally Called Out Following Embarrassing Game 5 Loss

Following their embarrassing game 5 loss to the Dallas Stars, Colorado Avalanche top defenseman Cale Makar is facing some backlash, and being brutally called out after just disappearing.
The Colorado Avalanche have only had a lead in this series one time, and that came whenever they won game 1 in Dallas by a score of 5-1.
Since then the Avalanche have been trailing in the series, or tied.
They ended up going down 2-1 after game three, but had a really, really good and strong bounce back game in game 4 when they shutout the Stars 4-0 dominating them the entire game.
That would tie the series back up at 2-2, but entering Dallas for game 5 the Colorado Avalanche looked like they weren't ready. The Dallas Stars got some very weak goals on Mackenzie Blackwood, and would go on to lose 6-2.
Now, with the series shifting back to Colorado, the Avalanche are trailing once again down 3-2, and their Stanley Cup hopes are on the line. They are going to have to have another insane game like they did during game 4.
One big reason for the Avalanche's struggles right now, is the fact that Cale Makar has disappeared.
Cale Makar Brutally Called Out
After having a career year this year scoring 30 goals and having over 90 points, Cale Makar was just nominated as a finalists for the Norris Trophy.
This is definitely deserved, but since entering the playoffs, Makar has completely disappeared for the Avalanche having just two assists in five games.
What an inconvenient time for Cale Makar to disappear, two assists and no goals through five games. One of the major reasons we are heading back to Denver down 3-2. No doubt the officiating has been horrible but Colorado cannot win without Makar producing. Simple as that.
If the Avalanche are going to want to beat the Stars and make it to the second-round, Makar is going to have to step up his game and play like he can.
