Fans are going wild after the Colorado Avalanche staged an impressive 4-2 comeback win over the Vegas Golden Knights in Tuesday's preseason clash.

Ross Colton's game-winning goal lifted the Avalanche to a 3-2 win over the Golden Knights at Ball Arena on Tuesday.
"Drury opened the scoring at 10:43 of the first period with a right-circle one-timer off a two-on-one rush chance set up by a Ross Colton's cross-ice feed." -Maier

Tanner Laczynski evened the score just 55 seconds into the second period. The Golden Knights then regained the lead at 11:55 when
Joe Fleming scored from close range.
Colorado's Polin tied it up again at 1:59 of the third period with a low-slot finish.
Colton put the Avalanche on top 3-2 at 5:54 of the third, burying a shot from the low slot off a setup from Drury.
Kiviranta sealed the win for Colorado with an empty-net goal at 19:59 of the third period.
The Avalanche's dominant preseason showing sends a clear message; they're primed and ready to carry this momentum into the start of the regular season.
The Avalanche face the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena in another preseason clash on Wednesday at 7 p.m. MT.
