Avalanche Center Charlie Coyle isn't scared of either option in the net, as Wedgewood has proven to be a reliable goalie in Dallas before he arrived in Colorado.

Wedgewood has only seen three games of postseason play with the Stars, where he'd yield a .862 save percentage. He'd record 25 shots saved on 29 shots against, with a 2.28 GAA.

This might be a challenge for Wedgewood, who hasn't seen more than a limited amount of usage in the postseason.

Mackenzie Blackwood has no postseason stats in the NHL. Though this season with the Avalanche has seen his play improve to a .913 save percentage and 2.33 GAA.

Blackwood will have something to prove in the playoffs this season. The storyline to follow is whether he will prove himself to be capable of being a top goalie in the NHL after his failed career in New Jersey.
