Elliotte Friedman: Avalanche defenseman Ryan Lindgren is probably going to market - 32 Thoughts Podcast
Lindgren was initially selected 49th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, but he was dealt to the New York Rangers in 2018 as part of the blockbuster trade for Rick Nash.
"He then came to the Avalanche in March along with Hank Kempf, Jimmy Vesey, for Calvin de Haan, Juuso Pärssinen, and a pair of conditional draft picks in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft." -Sutherland
Lindgren has tallied 102 points (14 goals, 88 assists) across 405 career NHL games with the Bruins, Rangers, and now the Avalanche. His current one-year contract, which carries an average annual value of $4.5 million, is set to expire on July 1.
