The Colorado Eagles showcased a balanced offensive attack in Game 2 of the AHL Pacific Final on Sunday, getting goals from five different players en route to a 5-3 victory over the Abbotsford Canucks, tying the series at one apart.

The Eagles showed a much better effort after getting shutout in Game 1 on Friday night.

The Colorado Eagles even up the AHL Pacific Final series with a 5-3 win over the Abbotsford Canucks on Sunday.

Goaltender Trent Miner played a key role, turning aside 27 of 30 shots to help the Eagles even the best-of-five series at one game apiece.
Jake Wise, Wyatt Aamodt, Chris Wagner, Ivan Ivan, and Jayson Megna all scored for the Eagles.
Colorado struck early in Game 2, opening the scoring just 1:57 into the first period. Wise positioned himself in the slot and managed to redirect a point shot into the back of the net for his first goal of the postseason, giving the Eagles a quick 1-0 lead in the game.
The defining narrative of Sunday's game was undoubtedly the intense physicality displayed by both teams. Heavy hits were exchanged throughout the contest, with tempers flaring often enough to spark multiple post-whistle scrums. The game's boiling point came at 12:23 when Canucks' forward Sammy Blais was assessed a game misconduct for unsportsmanlike conduct, highlighting the emotional and combative tone that defined the night.
With the first two games in the books, the series now heads to Colorado for Games 3, 4, and 5. While Abbotsford proved to be a formidable road team during the regular season, they'll face a tough challenge against an Eagles squad that boasted the AHL's best home record at 26-6-2-2.
Game 3 is set for Wednesday at 7:05pm MT at Blue Arena. With the series now tied 1-1 and shifting to home ice, Colorado will look to capitalize on their dominant regular-season record at Blue Arena and take control of the best-of-five series.
