Colorado Avalanche's newly signed defenseman speaks out for the first time and shockingly reveals his true colours towards the organization.
Earlier last week, Colorado Avalanche's General Manager Chris MacFarland announced that the organization have officially signed Cale's brother, Taylor Makar to his NHL entry level contract.
We have signed Taylor Makar to a one-year entry-level contract for the 2025-2026 season.
First ever look at Taylor Makar with the Colorado Avalanche organization
Since then we finally got our first ever look at the 24-year old defenseman as he made his first appearance at the Colorado Eagles practice on Friday.
Earlier on Friday morning, reports surfaced across social media as Taylor Makar had his first ever practice with the Colorado Avalanche's AHL affiliate team the Colorado Eagles.
Unfortunately, Taylor's contract is only set to kick in during the 2025-26 regular season, so Avalanche fans are going to have to wait a whole year before they seem him and his brother in action.

Taylor Makar was faced with a series of questions from a reporter from Guerilla Sports, and was asked about signing his Entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche. <~>At the 4:40 mark of the video
Here's what Taylor Makar's response was:
«Yeah it was really special, obviously, something I tried to work really hard for this year, so it's great. But right now it's just something at the end of the day, and I want to make that into something for sure, and keep working way more»
The kid isn't wrong, he will have a lot of work to do over the next year if he wants to make a difference and have an opportunity at playing at the NHL level.
