Colorado Avalanche's Brock Nelson issued a statement ahead of Game 4 against the Dallas Stars that the team needs to clean up their games, and push ahead as the team and Jared Bednar look to even the odds tonight.

The Colorado Avalanche have a shot to get back into the series tonight, as they're down 2-1 after 3 games in a very competitive series.
Before the game today, Brock Nelson was interviewed by Guerrilla Sports. They asked him how plan on putting the series back in control of the Avalanche.
Nelson would respond that they'd have to clean up their mistakes. Which has been evident on special teams, where DeBoer's Stars would hold them scoreless in Game 3.
Nelson and his 2nd power-play unit haven't been able to get much in the way of offense lately either.
The last three games, he's come out with a +2, while failing to score in any of their outings against the Stars.
On April 23rd, he'd get four shots off on the ice, while playing 25 shifts, and 17:59 TOI that night. In the two games beforehand, we saw no resounding difference in the quality of play as the Stars seem to have his number, generating two shots in two games, while playing 25 shifts, and 19:11 TOI on April 21st.
Nelson hasn't scored a point since the Avalanche's last game against the Los Angeles Kings' where he'd tally two goals, a +2, 2 SOG, and 17:14 TOI.
He's going to have to improve his play if the Avalanche are going to push deep into the playoffs in 2025.
