Nathan MacKinnon.
Connor McDavid tops Nathan MacKinnon once again in TSN's top 50 NHL players poll.
Craig Ellingson from CTV News writes that MacKinnon's second-place finish has sparked plenty of debate among Avalanche fans, many of whom believe their superstar deserves the top top spot this year.
McDavid's teammate,
Leon Draisaitl, comes in third on the list, keeping the top of TSN's rankings dominated by the Oilers and Avalanche stars.
All three forwards have previously won either the Art Ross Trophy, awarded to the NHL's top scorer, or the Hart Trophy, given to the league's most valuable player, highlighting their elite status and consistent impact on the ice.

McDavid is entering his 11th NHL season, all with the Oilers, who selected him first overall in the 2015 draft after winning the league lottery to move up from No. 3 to the top spot.
The 28-year-old superstar recorded 26 goals and 74 assists for 100 points in 67 games last season, leading the Oilers to their second consecutive Stanley Cup Final appearance.
In a TSN poll of hockey experts, McDavid earned 18 of 20 first-place votes, while MacKinnon received the remaining two.
