Colorado Avalanche fans are gearing up for a major shakeup in the upcoming NHL preseason, as a game will be played at Magness Arena, offering a unique experience for both players and fans alike.
The Avalanche have released key information about their upcoming 2025-26 NHL
training camp schedule, providing fans with important details heading into the upcoming season.

Jackie Kay from Mile High Sticking writes that when the Avalanche preseason schedule was released, it was noted that the September 21 split-squad game wouldn't be in Utah.
The first two preseason games will now feature a 2:30 p.m. matchup at Magness Arena, followed by a 6:30 p.m. game against Utah at Ball Arena.
"If that's still not enough hockey for you, there's another game on the schedule in which Avalanche legends will face-off against University of Denver alumni at Magness Arena on August 24th at 5 p.m." -Jay
