A New Development Has Surfaced In Gabriel Landeskog Being Available For The NHL Playoffs

Following a recent announcement today, there has been a new development in Colorado Avalanche's captain Gabriel Landeskog being available for the team come game one of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Landeskog ended up taking a massive step towards making a return to the NHL when the Colorado Avalanche sent him down for a conditioning stint in the American Hockey League.
Then he took another big step whenever he officially played in his first game in the American Hockey League with the Colorado Eagles. He would go on to play 15 shifts and looked super good for someone who hasn't played a game in nearly three years.
After the game he spoke out on how his knee was feeling, as he had three surgeries on his knee, and a cartilage replacement as well and stated that it felt good in his first game back.
«Body feels great,» Landeskog said. «Was telling some of the guys on the bench my knee feels great. I'm just tired. We're going to work on that.
«There were times where I didn't know if that was ever going to happen,» he said. «It felt great being in the battle again. On the bench, in the room, on the ice, all the nuances of a hockey game. Really fun being back.»
«I felt great,» Landeskog said postgame. «Obviously, some nerves going into it. I was trying to figure out, 'What did I use to do again?'
»But I was just trying to enjoy it, get into the game. Physically I feel great.»

Landeskog ended up once again taking another massive step today towards making a return in the playoffs this year.
The Colorado avalanche revealed that Gabriel Landeskog is once again playing tonight for the Colorado Eagles, making that back-to-back games he has appeared in.
Gabriel Landeskog will play for the @ColoradoEagles again tonight
If he is still feeling good after this game, and gets more shifts there is a very, very good chance that he could join the Avalanche for the playoffs tonight.
