Dallas Stars Head Coach Reveals Embarrassing Reason Oettinger Was Pulled During Game 4
After losing game three in
Gabriel Landeskog's NHL return,
the Avalanche had the perfect response game, absolutely dominating the Stars the entire game.
Colorado would go on to tie the series up at 2-2 when they beat the Stars 4-0.
After the game, Stars head coach Pete Deboer ended up revealing the embarrassing reason that goaltender Jake Oettinger was pulled from the game.
With a whole period still to play in a crucial game 4, the Dallas Stars ended up pulling star goaltender Jake Oettinger from the game.
Deboer stated that Oettinger was pulled from the game because they wanted to rest him for game 5.
Deboer says Oettinger came out to rest him.
This is super embarrassing, basically gave up on his team, saying that they did not have a chance to come back.
During the playoffs it shouldn't matter, you want your best guys out there, but I guess that's not the case for the Stars.
