Top remaining free agent Jack Roslovic, who has been consistently linked to the Colorado Avalanche, has reportedly narrowed his list down to just two final teams, setting the stage for a dramatic free agency finish.

Even after a strong bouce-back season, Roslovic finds himself in a situation much like last offseason.

Jack Roslovic has reportedly narrowed his decision down to two teams.

Dave Litman from NHL Trade Rumors writes that undoubtedly the best offensive option still available in free agency, Roslovic is drawing significant interest from a couple NHL teams.
"The Vancouver Canucks are another team said to have interest in the former first-rounder." -Litman

After posting his second 20-goal season, tallying 22 goals, 17 assists, and 39 points in 81 games with the Carolina Hurricanes, the skilled bottom-six forward known for his slick hands and strong puck control is now being linked to the Avalanche.
"Roslovic's unsigned status is puzzling, given the paucity of centers available and the overwhelming demand for them around the league. It doesn't sound like his camp is over-asking on a contract, as Cam Robinson of Elite Prospects reports that they are looking for a two or three-year deal at an AAV of just over $3 million." -Litman

AFT Analytics projected the 28-year-old to land a three-year contract worth around $4.1 million per season. However, with the majority of teams having already completed their major offseason moves in the opening week of free agency, few are likely willing to commit $3-4 million annually for a third-line forward right now.
"But for a guy who lit the lamp 22 times in just 13:49 average ice time a night, and set a career-high with a 54% faceoff win percentage, it's only a matter of time before he finds a new home." -Litman

We'll see where he chooses to sign as the offseason progresses.
