LeBrun drew parallels between Skinner's impact this postseason and Los Angeles Kings' goalie Darcy Kuemper's crucial role in the Avalanche's 2022 Stanley Cup victory.

All in all, the Oilers bear a strong resemblance to the 2022 Avalanche team, loaded with star talent, dependable depth, and a goaltender who just needs to stay steady and let the stars do the heavy lifting. The Oilers' top guns have been doing just that, writes Quixtan.

The Oilers currently lead their Western Conference Final series 2-1 over the Dallas Stars. Game 4 is set for Tuesday night in Edmonton.
