Coby Maeir from NHL.com writes that in his return, Landeskog suited up for five games, tallying four points (1 goal, 3 assists) delivering 15 hits while averaging 17:13 of ice time per night. It marked his seventh postseason campaign with at least four points and 15 hits, the most by any player in franchise history since hits became an official stat in 2005-06.
"While the Ball Arena crowd erupted when Landeskog hit the ice for warmups ahead of Game Three, they were sent into a frenzy when he scored in Game Four." -Maier
Here's what Landeskog had to say after scoring his first goal in just his second game back in Game 4 against the Dallas Stars...
"Obviously I've envisioned scoring again for a long time. And then there were obviously days where I didn't know if I was gonna get to score again." -Landeskog
Nathan MacKinnon also found the back of the net in that game, marking the first time he and longtime teammate Landeskog scored in the same contest since Game 4 of the 2022 Western Conference Final.
«There's only one Gabe Landeskog in the world. That kind of person and player. We missed him. There was a big hole in our room for three years and it's nice to have him back and it means the world to all of us.» -MacKinnon
Heading into the 2025-26 season, Landeskog still has four years left on his contract. He needs 62 more games to reach 800 played and 29 more points to hit 600.
