Crosby to Colorado? Insider confirms that an Avalanche star is reportedly making it happen

Following their first-round playoff loss to former Colorado Avalanche star Mikko Rantanen, there's plenty of reflection going on in Denver.
However, Nathan MacKinnon may be focused on something entirely different this summer.
Insider confirms that an Avalanche star is reportedly trying to bring Sidney Crosby to Colorado.
Caleb Kerney from Yahoo Sports writes that with revenge fueling MacKinnon, Elliotte Friedman suggests he'll be going all-in on his efforts to recruit Crosby to join the Avalanche.

Crosby signed a contract extension with the Penguins just last year, so why would he consider leaving? According to Friedman, the explanation may be tied to a recent decision made by the organization.
