Colorado Avalanche star Nathan MacKinnon leads Canada to victory over at Slovakia at the World Championships
Team Canada cruised to a 7-0 victory over Slovakia on Saturday in its fifth round-robin matchup at the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Sweden.

Canada's 37-year-old captain Sidney Crosby and 18-year-old Macklin Celebrini teamed up for two of the team's three goals in a dominant second period at Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
Patrik Rybar allowed five goals on 32 shots for Slovakia before being replaced in the third period by Adam Huska, who turned aside 10 of the 12 shots he faced.
Slovakia sat fourth in Group A, trailing Finland by four points, with a record of two regulation wins, two regulation losses, and one overtime loss.
With Canada's strong performance through five games, they've established themselves as the clear frontrunner for the gold medal. Meanwhile, the host nation Sweden remains unbeaten in Group A, and Czechia, also undefeated, sits atop Group B.
Canada will try and keep their perfect tournament record alive on Monday against Finland. Puck drop is set for 6:20pm MT. Finland currently sits 3rd in Group A.
MacKinnon is currently tied for 1st in points in the tournament with 10 (6 goals and 4 assists).
