Czechia and Germany are set to face-off in the preliminary round of the IIHF World Championship on Monday morning.

Martin Necas and Czechia continued their dominant run at the tournament with an 8-1 win over Kazakhstan on Saturday, marking their fifth straight win.

The Czechs now hold the second-highest offensive output in Group B and sit in second place with 14 points, positioning themselves strongly heading into the final stretch of the preliminary round.
Meanwhile, Germany dropped its second game of the tournament with a 6-3 loss to the United States on Saturday.
