The Colorado Avalanche just revealed what line captain Gabriel Landeskog is going to play on as he makes his return to the organization for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Earlier last week, Gabriel Landeskog made waves around the hockey community whenever the Colorado Avalanche announced that he was going to be joining their AHL affiliate on a conditioning loan.
After not playing a game in nearly three years, Landeskog ended up playing back-to-back games with the Eagles before the Avalanche terminated his conditioning loan, and he rejoined the organization.
Landeskog ended up speaking on his knee and how it was feeling and had this to say about it:
"Honestly, it's been really good. Obviously I've been skating for a long time now and I've been working on all the nuances of skating.
It's one thing to be on the ice and skate and do certain drills, but it's another one to do it in a game, game speed, and game intensity. I put the work in.
I know I've put my time in and now this weekend I've gotten a chance to just not put it to the test, but take the next step and just trust my training, trust where my knee's at, and it's been feeling really good."

Avalanche Reveal What Line Landeskog Will Play On In Return
At practice yesterday, the Colorado Avalanche revealed what line fans can expect Landeskog to play on in his return.
For practice, Landeskog was wearing a green jersey, indicating that he will be playing on the Avalanche's third line in his return.
Gabe Landeskog just jumped on the ice in a green (third line) jersey
It's unclear if he is going to play during the first game, but the Avalanche may hold him out until game 3 so he can make his first appearance in front of their home crowd.
