The Colorado Avalanche are set to face off against the Dallas Stars in the first round of the playoffs this year, and head coach Jared Bednar has seemed confident when he confirmed who the starting goaltender is going to be.
Now Bednar has issues a conflicting statement, which leaves fans questioning who will actually get the start for game one.

Despite that, it seemed to be confirmed that Mackenzie Blackwood was going to be the game one starting goaltender for the Avalanche.
Jared Bednar made it clear that Blackwood is starting but Wedgewood is absolutely an option if needed. What a luxury to have.
But now a new report has surfaced which shows that Bednar is comfortable with starting either goaltender for game one, now this is obviously a great issue to have, but one that leaves fans wondering what the move will be.
