Former Colorado Avalanche and current Florida Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues maintained a personal blog during the 2025 Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers, offering regular updates and exclusive behind-the-scenes insights.

The Panthers defeated the Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 on Tuesday to earn themselves their second consecutive Stanley Cup championship.

Rodrigues opens up after winning a second consecutive Stanley Cup.

In his seventh and final blog entry, Rodrigues shares how the team maintained relentless pressure throughout the final game and offers a glimpse into their upcoming summer plans.
"The best thing about winning the Stanley Cup again is you get to enjoy it even more, because you know what it's like. You've been through the process, you know what to expect and you just get to cherish the moments. Even with my kids now, everything is that much better. I'm just trying to take it all in." -Rodrigues

Rodrigues also added that the Panthers made some key additions at the Trade Deadline with Brad Marchand and Seth Jones, who were a big and blended in perfectly with the group.
"That's because of our leadership. It's just, everyone feels welcome. I remember coming in last year and it was the same thing. You're able to come to the locker room and you feel like you've been there for years. It's an unbelievable group and we had unbelievable additions coming in. We needed that to give us a little bit of life, to give us that little extra bit of juice and everyone who came in did a great job. It was just a complete team effort." -Rodrigues

Rodrigues concludes by writing that he found it funny how some of his teammates were already planning their day with the Stanley Cup.
"We know what to expect, we know what's coming and it's going to be a fun summer again." -Rodrigues

Rodrigues tallied 2 goals and 13 assists for 15 points in 21 playoff games with the Panthers.
Before signing with Florida as a free agent in July of 2023, Rodrigues played one season with the Avalanche where he recorded 16 goals and 23 assists for 39 points in 69 games.
