Colorado Avalanche HC Jared Bednar is encouraged to make this move ahead of Game-5

The Colorado Avalanche turned their game around in the 4th game against the Dallas Stars.

They'd obliterate them in a 4-0 shutout in Ball Arena, Gabriel Landeskog would find his wheels, and score 2 points, and have help across the lineup, including Sam Girard, Brock Nelson, Logan O'Connor, Nathan MacKinnon, and Devon Toews.

Mackenzie Blackwood would ensure a shutout, stopping all 23 of the Dallas Stars' shots on goal that night, ending with a 1.00 save percentage.

The Avalanche's dominance would be front and center as they put the Stars, led by Peter DeBoer, to shame. Keep in mind, this is the same Peter DeBoer who failed to take the San Jose Sharks and Vegas Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup finals before 2025.

If Bednar doesn't take his foot off the gas, he can continue this trend.

The Avalanche would score 3 goals on Jake Oettinger before DeBoer would get antsy and put Casey DeSmith in the net, who let in another.

While the Avalanche lines seem to be perfect, with Landeskog flanking Brock Nelson, and Valeri Nichushkin plays on the right wing.

Both Nichushkin and Landeskog have been in these trying times before and know what it takes to go far in the postseason.

They just need to win Game 5 in order to stay alive in this series.
